Vintage 1970s Orange Poppy Print Maxi Dress by Devonshire Lady Very striking dress for autumn. Print features orange poppies with black centres and smaller white flowers with orange and black centres. Background of dress is black. Long sleeves with button cuffs. Loose fit falling from the bust with slight tailoring to the waist. Round neck line. Metal back zip. Label is “Devonshire Lady”. Material is nylon. Lightweight and floaty with a good drape. Marked as Size 20 on the label but as it is vintage it is smaller than the modern equivalent. I’d say it’s approximately a modern 16. Laid flat and measured side to side, it measure: Bust (pit to pit): 21.5” / 54cm Waist: 19” / 48cm Hip: 23” / 58cm Sleeve length (shoulder to cuff): 23.5” / 60cm Across shoulders: 17” / 43cm Length (shoulder to dress hem): 57” / 145cm In mint condition, seems barely worn.
