Beautiful reversible vintage intricately beaded collar necklace | handmade blue and white bead collar, detachable beaded collar, lace collar This is a beautiful, intricately beaded vintage collar necklace. It has been hand beaded with tiny glass seed beads and closes with a hand beaded tie and would have taken hours and hours of painstaking work. Constructed with three layers of collar - navy blue, blue and white, it can be worn a number of ways. You can wear it with the navy colour on top, with the tie at the front, or with the tie at the back. Or you can do the same but with the white beadwork showing. It is in very good condition, with some small areas of previous repair, please see photos. It is a wonderful collector's piece and would make a stunning statement necklace. It would make a thoughtful, sustainable gift. Delicately beaded in a lace style pattern, it sits above the collarbone as a collar style necklace. I believe it dates to 1950s but could be earlier.
