Rare Original Antique Photogravure of “King Cophetua and the Beggar Maid” (124 years old)

This rare and hauntingly beautiful Antique (124 year old) Photogravure of "King Cophetua and the Beggar Maid" by Edward Burne-Jones. Extracted from an original antique collection ’The Hundred Best Pictures’ compiled in 1901 by Charles Letts. The Photogravure is tipped in (lightly glued on one side) to the original thick creamy backing paper which has been trimmed down to size and features text from the follow page on the back. These look stunning in a floating frame, or equally impressive mounted in a frame. The Photogravure can easily be lifted from the backing paper.
