Beautiful wooden box Made in India I'm not sure what wooden, but it's been Reworked, cleaned, sanded, and waxed to bring out the grain. Indian Elephant compliments the box and its origin. It's big. Deep. Has metal hinges and safety chain to stop lid from shunting back. There are a few tiny imperfections due to age, but this just adds natural character. Would make a beautiful keepsake or memory box. Probably 15 years old Has been kept in a warm, dry,damp free environment
