Pair of Chinese porcelain cockerels, likely dating from the late Qing Dynasty around c. 1900. They are modeled standing on pierced grassy mound bases. Their plumage is painted with vibrant famille rose enamels, and their combs are in iron red enamels. The figurines are hand-molded and hand-painted, and each bears an impressed stamp with Chinese characters. They are also referred to as rooster figurines and are considered antique or vintage ceramic pottery.
