The Lady of the Lake is a mysterious and powerful figure in Arthurian legend, known for giving King Arthur his sword Excalibur and for raising the knight Lancelot. Often depicted as a sorceress or fairy spirit, she lives in a lake, sometimes identified as Avalon, and is known by names like Nimue or Viviane. She is a guardian figure who also plays a role in Merlin's downfall and takes the dying Arthur to Avalon.

She is a powerful sorceress with control over water, symbolizing mystery, healing, and the otherworldly.
