This is a handmade folk art piece sand painting inside a round glass ball. Looks to be a desert scene with a few mountains. It is very well done and would make a nice piece to have on your desk. The bottom appears to have some kind of woven material on it. This is about 3" tall. I did clean it but there seems to be some black spots all over the glass, I am not sure if they are inside or outside since they don't come off. Still a very nice piece.
