Pair of Antique Cobalt Blue Glass Candle Sticks attributed to French maker Portieux Vallerysthal featuring a swimming creature as its feet. Usually called a dolphin, but sometimes called a fish, koi, carp, serpent, or snake.
A petal on one leaf of one candlestick has either a chip or a manufacturing flaw. And the candlesticks are not perfectly straight. See photos. About 9.5" tall, 5" wide at the base, 2" wide at the top. The opening for the taper candle is about 1 inch wide.
