Here is a rare Find! Offered is an Egyptian Revival Brooch Circa 1940. The brooch is pressed metal with plastic scarab beetle insert. It measures about 2" x 1.5". This was given as a Bab-O Soap premium - The brooch was issued by the soaps sponsor BT Babbitt. It was created after a scarab in the Metropolitan Museum of Art that was said to be given to an Egyptian queen by her lover 35 centuries ago!
