STIEFF PEWTER BOWL MYSTIC SEAPORT REPRODUCTION 1974
A small pewter bowl, made by Stieff for the Mystic Seaport Museum in 1974. The bowl is about 5 3/8 inches across and 2 1/4 inches tall. It is inscribed on the front B E I C with an elephant between the E and I. This stands for British East India Company. Apparently it is a replica of one on display at Mystic Seaport at the time. I got the information on the provenance from the Stieff website. The condition is very good used. It has some minor scratches, especially inside, from use, about what you would expect for the age. It doesn't have any dents or gouges, overall, very nice used condition.
