For your consideration is this beautiful cereal bowl produced by Metlox of Manhatten Beach, California. This pattern, titled "Sculptured Grape", had a fairly long production period. It was produced by Metlox from 1963 until 1986 according to Replacements. The piece is stoneware earthenware and quite sturdy to uphold a lot of use. The border is adorned with a sculptured and raised grape vine pattern giving the edge a slightly scalloped appearance. The bottom is stamped and reads "POPPY TRAIL / BY METLOX / MADE IN CALIFORNIA". It measures 7.635 inches in diameter x 2 inches in height. The depth is approximately 1.7 inches. The dish is in excellent condition with no chips or abrasions observed. With the earthy tones and harvest theme, this dish is absolutely perfect for Thanksgiving or your fall tablescapes.
