Vintage Beer Mug Spuds Mackenzie Bud Light Beer Stein Anheuser Busch Dog

Vintage 1987 beer mug / beer stein spuds Mackenzie bud light stein. Spuds in a blue sweater with yellow stripes. Red script “Spuds Mackenzie”. The original party animal. Colorful balloons everywhere in yellow, blue and red. Bud light printed in blue inside a red border.

Approximately 8" tall and 4" in diameter.

The writing on the glass says, "1987 Anheuser Busch, Inc."

Spuds MacKenzie was a fictional dog created by Bud Light Beer in the 1980’s. He first showed up at the Super Bowl. By the end of the game, he was a marketing success. The ads were dropped in 1992 amid allegations by temperance-oriented groups who alleged that Anheuser Busch was pitching the dog to children.
