Vintage Duchess Vintage Paden City Pottery Vegetable Serving Bowls. Set of 2. One is 8.75" across width and the other is 8" across. The bigger one has one tiny chip under edge not visible from the front. See pic, it's small. Other then that both in very good condition.  I believe made in the 40s to early 50s.  You get both bowls.

"In the early 1900s, a group of Pittsburgh investors bought three farms owned by a man name Paden located near Sisterville, West Virginia, for the purpose of creating a new industrial town. The town was named Paden City.

Paden City Pottery, established in 1914, was the first industry in the new city. George R. Wallace, a Pittsburgh attorney was the first president. The company initially made art ware and kitchenware in brown and white."
