The real highlight is the original logo from Turn- und Spielverein der Farbenfabriken vorm. Friedrich Bayer & Co. in Leverkusen on the left chest. On the right is the tone-on-tone coloured logo of British kit supplier Castore. The Bayer 04 sponsors are also presented in tone-on-tone colour. The historic Barmenia logo is emblazoned on the chest, while the neck is adorned with Werkself lettering. The black ‘costumes’, as the sportswear was called 120 years ago, are also characterised by a striking red collar and golden buttons below the collar.
