For your consideration is this pretty strand of cultured pearls. A gemologist identified the pearls as containing 138 Chinese freshwater cultured pearls, about 43 inches long. The pearls measure from about 8.73mm to 10.1mm. They are described as having moderate nacre growth, good polish, a medium to strong cream body color and no overtone color. They are oval or oblong shape and most pearls show the typical circular growth pattern extending around the outside of the pearl, typical of may Chinese freshwater cultured pearls. The pearls are strung continuously with a steel clasp.
Approximate length: 43 inches from end to end. As photographed in image one is almost 21" long.
