Both are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks , they both have some slight age related.
Delightful "Be Patient" Hummel" #197/2/0, TMK2. Made in Germany c.1940-1959. Molded by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1948. The details and colors are stunning! The "Stylized Bee" is marked on the bottom. These pieces are in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or significant crazing on figurine. A must have for collectors! Makes a unique gift for a teacher, nurse, neighbor or someone special!
Hummel figurines (also known as M.I. Hummel figurines or simply Hummels) are a series of porcelain figurines based on the drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, O.S.F. The sketch art of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel began to appear in the 1930s in Germany and Switzerland, mostly pastoral drawings of children. From 1931-1946 she created more than 600 paintings.
