MFJ 1024 SWL Outdoor Active Antennas
MFJ 1024 SWL Outdoor Active Antennas are amplified antennas covering continuous frequencies from 50 kHz to 30 MHz. The outdoor unit consists of a 54 in. telescopic whip and the amplifier module, which measures 3 in. x 4 in. x 4 in. It is connected to the indoor control unit by an included 50 ft. RG-58 coaxial cable with a molded PL-259 connector.
The desktop control unit measures 6 in. x 2 in. x 5 in. and features a 20 dB attenuator and a gain control to prevent receiver overload. A built-in receiver switch selects either of two receivers and an antenna switch permits selection of an auxiliary non-amplified antenna. The auxiliary antenna input jack and receiver jacks are RCA-type. A red LED indicates that the power is on.
The active antenna unit is weatherized for prolonged outdoor use. It may be attached to a mast or pole using the supplied "U" bolts.
AC ADAPTER IS NOT INCLUDED.
