Nice looking antique Chinese sewing basket. After researching this item online, I believe I have identified it correctly but it could be a wedding basket. Most of the sewing baskets I viewed did not have a handle. The basket measures approximately 9" tall and 13" x 12". I do not know what material was used - it looks like bamboo, rattan or wicker to me but I may be right on one or none of them.
Condition: I think the basket is in pretty nice shape with normal, expected age wear on the basket
