Handmade studio pottery pedestal chalice with a wheel-thrown form and hand-painted floral decoration. Features a wide bowl on a tall tapered stem and an impressed double potter's mark near the base. Shino-style glaze in soft gray with blue and brown brushwork.
Measures approximately 8.5" tall and 5" wide. Weight is 2 lb 13 oz. Interior and exterior show characteristic speckling and wheel-throw lines typical of handmade stoneware. Likely made by a studio potter between the 1970s and 1990s.
Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
Suitable for display, altar use, or as an art pottery accent piece.
