Dee Hockenberry was a respected teddy bear designer and historian who wrote several popular books on toy bears such as Steiff and others.
This teddy is missing her hang tag, therefore I do not know her name. I have been unable to find any like her, and I believe she is OOAK. She has been signed by Dee Hockenberry, on her left foot, though the signature is now quite faded and hard to make out. She is made of Mohair with stitching on her nose, mouth, and paws. Approx. 11". A rare find, and in excellent condition!
