This classic necklace is made from natural mother of pearl shells that have been harvested from the South Sea. These shells have then been shaped, polished and colored by skilled artisans into over 30 lustrous beads that have been strung and hand knotted along the entire necklace in a repeating series of 3 colors - gold, dark silver and dark copper.
Each bead measures approximately 10 millimeters in diameter.
The necklace is approximately 18 inches in length and includes a solid 14K gold clasp. The clasp is stamped with the numbers 585 which is used internationally as a stamp for 14k gold. The number represents the gold purity percentage of 14K gold relative to pure 24K gold (i.e. 14÷24 which equals 58.5%).
The necklace will also come in a velvet Masami gift bag.
