Artisan Pendant Citrine, Sea Glass & Broken China, Hand Soldered W Triple Chain
I created this one-of-a-kind Pendant by using a Tiffany (lead-free), Soft soldering technique and Sterling Silver wire to fuse all of these gorgeous stones and fragments of a vintage fine bone china plate together. I used a black patina for a vintage effect and hand polished and sealed it to retain its sheen. The necklace is a vintage Avon triple tier chain link from the 90s.
This material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. It will not turn your skin green! It is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver, it’s safe and lead free.
I design all my pieces by using mixed media art Boho style metalwork and incorporating vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old. Hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
