This unique, triangular shaped, hand-tooled leather bound liquor bottle shows the images of Don Quixote and Sancho Ponza. Outside of some wear on the bottom, it is in excellent condition. However; this vintage decanter does not have a top. It was lost during a move over the years. This leather bound art-decanter is a model of fine Spanish leather workmanship. It measures 8 inches high and about 5 inches wide. It weighs 1 pound 9 ounces. The intricate detail on the face of both men is remarkable. Don Quixote is a character in a novel by Miguel de Cervantes. The book was published in 1605. The theme of the book emphasizes the political hypocrisy and injustices which existed in 15th century Spain.
