The item being offered is a Bakerite China Pink Poppy Cake Plate. This beautiful platter is in great condition with no scratch marks or shelf ware. The striking colors of the poppies are pink and white with blue violets and greenery. The platter is four sided with tab handles. For it's age, it does not appear to have been used.
This plate will blend in Shabby Chic, Cottage Chic, Farmhouse, Victorian decor. It has great retro appeal and the shape is unusual. This can be used at a shower, anniversary party, or a tea party. The marker's mark on the bottom is very cear and states Bakerite oven tested, warranted, 22 K gold. There is no wear to the mark.
Dimensions: Square side to side 11 inches, tab to tab handle 12 inches. The plate sits up about 3/4 inch.
