A wonderful gift for the Hergé collector.
The Professor Calculus (Professeur Tournesol) magnet is still in its original packaging. The included book is The Adventures of Tintin, Volume 4, published by Little, Brown c. 1991, printed in Spain.
It includes three tales: Red Rackham's Treasure, The Seven Crystal Balls, and Prisoners of the Sun. Translated by Leslie Lonsdale-Cooper and Michael Cooper.
There is a name inscribed in pen on the inside cover, and the spine is gently loosening, but this classic edition is still in good condition and desirable.
The book is the perfect size for travel AND its lettering is the old Hyslop handlettering, not the more recently used digital type. This is a big plus for fans of vintage English translations, as many consider Neil L. Hyslop's lettering to be easier to read and more expressive than the digital font used in current editions.
