Eaton Tripp Lite Series Cat6a Class EA UTP Field-Termination Plug, 568A/568B, TAA
Tool-Free RJ45 Cat6a Plug Designed for Field Installation
This Cat6a RJ45 plug simplifies the installation of devices in an above-ceiling application where installing a face plate isn't practical or where outlets, jacks and patch cables must be plenum rated. The clamshell design allows a Cat6a cable to be terminated to the N232-USC6A-1, which then connects to a Type 3 or Type 4 PoE (Power over Ethernet) device, such as a WAP (Wireless Access Point) or surveillance camera.
Supports PoE++ Applications with up to 100W of Power
Connect high-power PoE devices such as video conferencing devices, laptops and flat screens, building management devices and more. The UL-compliant N232-USC6A-1 is 4PPoE (PoE++) compatible and IEEE 802.3bt compliant for PoE applications up to 100 watts.
Assembles Easily with No Special Tools Required
The N232-USC6A-1 is made for fast, reliable terminations in the field with just a wire stripper/cutter. It accommodates 23-27 AWG solid or stranded cabling and 5.5-8.5 mm cable jacket diameters. Ideal for assembling high-performance patch cords in a hurry, the N232-USC6A-1 can be re-terminated as many as 20 times.
A Must-Have for Modern Data Centers
The glass-reinforced nylon construction ensures your connection is built to last. The IDC module can be installed and uninstalled up to five times. A locking cylinder screws into place to ensure the installed cable remains secured.
TAA-Compliant for GSA Schedule Purchases
The N232-USC6A-1 is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.
