This is a vintage baby rattle that has been slightly modified to be worn as a necklace or displayed on this silky piece of cord. I think it would look great on a thick silver chain, worn as a necklace. I've never seen these before but I researched and found a lot of different variations, none exactly like this but similar. They are .925 silver and I verified that at the refinery.
The ball inside creates a soft ring when it's moved around and the sound comes thru the 2 small holes on the bottom sides. I didn't measure but you can see it's pretty big in my hand. If you're interested in this item, go ahead and make me an offer on it, the price is negotiable.
