Vintage Chateau D'Argent Purple Sapphire Ring in Vermeil Over Sterling

Preowned ring stamped with .925 C a little arrow and an A on the inside of the band. This ring has gold tone vermeil. Most of the gold tone over the sterling is intact color-wise (sometimes the vermeil is very fades exposing the sterling underneath). The setting of the purple sapphire is modern and simple with an open half bezel. It could be worn by a man or woman. In some lighting when I have worn this ring the color of the stone is blue everywhere instead of purple. I could never capture this in picture. It always photographed purple.

When looked under a long wave uv light the stone fluoresces red but it also shows the areas of blue in the stone which does not have a strong glow.

Center Stone 12.4 mm length, 9.0 mm width, 4.3 mm depth

Stone has been tested with Presidium Gem Tester II machine. The tester does not verify between lab created sapphire and natural.
