The battery features two USB ports built-in, one a USB Type-A output for charging mobile devices, and the other a micro-USB power input. The NP-F Dual Charger simultaneously charges two Sony L-series (NP-F) batteries and confirms the charge status via a compact LCD screen.
NP-F980 7.4V 6600mAh Li-Ion Battery
The Battery's power input allows you to connect the battery directly to a USB power source to recharge it, so you won't need a battery plate or any dedicated charger, although most L-series chargers can be used, including those from IndiPRO. The battery also offers a 4-LED gauge on top that confirms the remaining battery capacity at the press of a check button.
NP-F Series Dual-Battery Charger
The charger is designed with automatic current control to ensure overcharge protection. It's powered over an included USB cable, which can be plugged into a standard USB charger or your computer's USB Type-A port.
