Offered is a lot of 4 vintage Japanese baseball menko cards from the 1950 JCM 222: “Movie Star Name on Back” set. Featured are Hall of Famers Atsushi Aramaki, Juzo Sanada, and Shinji Hamazaki, plus standout infielder Chusuke Kizuka.

Aramaki won Pacific League Rookie of the Year in 1950 with a 26–8 record and was later inducted into the Hall of Fame. Sanada had a record-setting 39-win season that same year and earned the Sawamura Award, later joining the Hall in 1990. Hamazaki became the oldest pitcher to win a pro game in Japan at age 48, and was inducted in 1978. Kizuka earned Best Nine honors in 1950 and ranked among the league’s stolen base leaders.

Each card measures approx. 1 5/16” x 2 11/16”. A rare opportunity to own an authentic piece of postwar Japanese baseball history.
