A vintage Erzgebirge wooden Shepherd nutcracker by Straco. This Shepherd is holding his staff in one hand. His hat is made of wood and painted green with a leather handband and has blue flowers stuck in the band. He has a "fur" bag around his shoulder with a baby lamb and flowers in it. He also has a fur piece attached to one shoulder. His belt is black metal with a chain attached. His beard is made of rabbit fur.
The lamb that sits by his feet is missing but is not noticeable that is should be there.
He is approximately 14 1/2" tall and the blue base is 4 1/2" square. He was handmade in Germany.
