Large intricately woven European tapestry depicting a fox hunting scene. Purchased from the luxury department store La Samaritaine that has been around since 1869 in the first arrondissement of Paris, France. Tag still attached. Two small loose threads in back but doesn’t affect front design. Includes brass hanging clips and three-part solid brass threaded pipe for hanging. Ends of rod are threaded as well and finials can possibly be put on ends. Unfinished edges, marked on one side with Made in France / All Cotton / Goblys. Measures approximately 38”W x 20”H.
