Beautiful strand of cherry red Bakelite beads. 54.6 grams in weight, about 28 inches in length. The beads are very reactive to semi chrome as shown! Graduated beads on a red string, unsigned, There is no closure on the necklace so it could be restrung if need be! One of the beads is damaged as shown. See photos for details!
***I am not an expert on early plastics, I do not know the type or formulation. The semi chrome test is positive as shown in photos and I got this from an estate auction who titles the item as “antique cherry red Bakelite necklace" but that’s all the information that I have so make sure to go through photos for details!
