This timeless dress is made of gorgeous embroidered lace and was sold circa 1990. This dress is rare and extremely difficult to find. You can add a slip underneath, wear it with a bodysuit or dare to wear with only lingerie.
There is little info about SEVERIN, The label on the dress in this listing reads only SEVERIN, but I found two other vintage tags that show SEVERIN designed for both Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.
In beautiful vintage condition with no flaws, every thread is in place.
UPDATE: crazy moment of serendipity, a shopper saw my listing and commented:
“The designer was Nancy Severin Willheim, my cousin. She worked for a couple of major designers in LA before establishing her own line which she called Severin. Sadly, she died unexpectedly in 1997 Sadly, she died unexpectedly at a Sadly, she died unexpectedly in 1997 at the age of 38. She was lovely and so very talented.”
