Vintage ASICS Tiger “Dan Gable” wrestling shoes, made in Taiwan circa 1978–1979. Size Men’s 10.5. These are the first-edition Gable models with “U.S. Patent Pending No. 240920” molded into the sole, confirming early production before ASICS fully dropped the Tiger branding.
White with navy ASICS stripes, Dan Gable printed signature near heel, “ASICS TIGER” on tongue, and “TIGER” logo on back. Gum rubber outsole with the original traction pod design.
Excellent vintage condition, uppers clean, soles intact, structure still solid and flexible.
A rare, historic wrestling shoe that’s wearable with care or perfect for collectors and display.
