Antique 1899 S E Waller THE HUNTSMANS COURTSHIP Signed print of Painting Framed Under Glass. This is a wooden frame with a plaid inside border. It is like new and is great wall decor.
Samuel Waller was born on June 18, 1850. He was a genre and historical painter and illustrator, in Gloucester. He studied at Gloucester School of Art, and in the office of his father, an architect. He learned to draw animals on his father's farm.
Samuel Waller entered the Royal Academy Schools in 1869. In 1872, he toured in Ireland and published "Six Weeks in the Saddle".
Starting in 1871, Waller exhibited at the Royal Academy and the R.O.I.
Samuel Waller died on 9 June, 1903 in London.
