An extraordinary piece. This sterling silver cuff bracelet is from the 1900's featuring etched depictions of famous landmarks in Vienna, Austria. The bracelet is a souvenir piece, travel cuff bracelet.
Three structures are etched on the bracelet; Schönbrunn Palace, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and the Wiener Riesenrad in front of the Prater amusement park Ferris wheel. (Wien is the German translation of Vienna).
The cuff features a black enamel background. The enamel, as well as the silver, has been etched with the buildings and scenery, as well as intricate panels of flourish designs. Some of the scenery is colored with green, red, and gold.
Measuring 2.125" in diameter, roughly 6.67 in circumference, the bracelet has some give, with a .75" to 1" opening. The width of the cuff is 1.125" - weighs 26g.
Marked 900 - OD - and an illegible mark. The mark 'OD' is believed, to represent Oscar Julius Dietrich.
In excellent condition, slight paint loss upon close inspection.
