Black Precious Bantam Laser Beam Opal

Every once in a great while something truly magical happens. Hundreds of millions of years ago there was once a volcano. At the side of this Volcano was a lush green forest. At the end of this forest was a sandy bottomed lake. One day long ago that Volcano erupted and hot magma spewed out from the top and down through the lush green forest. The magma stream continued to spue out bringing large trees and debris with it down the side of the Volcano into the lake.. As the trees still burning from the magma fell into the lake they started to super cool. By the time those burning trees touched the lake bed they were hot enough to melt the sand. This super cooling and super heating traps bubbles of water and melted sand inside the now petrified wood. When the opal forms just just inside the grooves of of the tree bark bark straight lines of Opal deposition form creating Laser beam Opal. This is the rarest form of Black Precious Opal from Indonesia.
