BRIT MARLING is deservedly a darling of art house cinemas and the independent film world for the series of features (Sound of My Voice (2011), Another Earth (2011), The East. 2013) that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and in which she starred,and for which she was also co-writer and producer togerther. She became even more widely known for her mind-bending Netflix Sci-fi series THE OA (2016-2017), which she co-created, wrote, and starred in as Prairie Johnson a blind woman who mysteriously reappears in her hometown after seven years, no longer blind and refusing to talk to anyone about what happened during her years of absence.. All the episodes of THE OA were directed by Marling's longtime friend, partner, and co-writer Zal Batmanglij.
