Vostok / Bostok Vintage Navy Frogman Watch

Rare and hard to source early Bostok Navy issue "Frogman" with crown at 1:30. Most common Russian Military Issue watches are crown at 3. This one contains high grade 17 Jewel manual winding mechanism. Sets and winds as designed and is keeping exceptional time for a 50+ year old watch. These Russian mechanicals are known for large gear train (pocket watch derived) mechanisms that are capable of keeping chronometer grade time. This one takes a deep satisfying wind and has a deep power reserve. Original dial shows era correct Patina under a loupe but hands and dial are really quite good for their age. Can't reasonably fault includes Russian period bracelet with bar ends and very good length. Watch is shown on my 7-1/2+ wrist. Classic size. Nice red lollipop seconds hand. Watch is a combination of chrome plated brass and Stainless as was the construction in CCCP. Has the Navy Anchor at 6. Thx
