This charming and collectible monk-style cookie jar from the 1960s features the classic phrase "Thou Shalt Not Steal" and embodies a fun, retro kitchen vibe. A favorite among vintage collectors, this piece is both functional and full of character.
No chips, no cracks, minor paint wear in small areas due to age, adding to its authentic charm. No crazing, but has slight discoloration on the inside bottom (see photo). The lid fits securely. Made in Japan was imported by Sears Canada in Toronto. The Sears sticker is still on the bottom.
