For your consideration is this vintage coffee cup produced by Unicorn China of Staffordshire, England, for PO European Ferries. Very little information is available online for Unicorn China. The earliest mention found in newspapers was dated 1987 and the last mention was 1990. PO European Ferries was in operation from 1987 until 1999. Seller speculates this would have been produced in celebrating and advertising the ferry service between 1987 and 1990. These appear to be on the rarer side as seller was only able to find a comp sale on Worthpoint dated 2012. The cup features an image of their fairy called The Pride of Dover printed on it. It has a dark blue band around the cup's rim and handle. The bottom bears the manufacturer's logo (a unicorn) and reads "Unicorn China / Staffordshire / England" printed on it. It measures 3 inches in diameter x 4 inches tall, and weighs 7.8 ounces. A wonderful collectible coffee cup to add to your maritime vessel memorabilia collection.Condition: Ite
