Beautiful 1946 Original Oil Painting by famous Italian artist Rodolpho Marma. Signed and in very good condition. The scene depicts a 1940's Market Corner of Florence, Italy (writing on back shows Fizenze). This comes in a gorgeous 70 plus year old wood frame which is hand-carved and gold and silver leaf gilded by hand, in a painstaking process of adding multiple layers, one at a time. Frame shows some gilding loss/wear where clay shows through and some nicks.
