Galileo Thermometer inspired by the Italian astronomer & physicist, Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) discovery that the density of liquid expands or contracts with temperature changes led to the creation of the world's oldest thermometer.Thermometer is made up of a glass cylinder and inside the cylinder are 5 hand blown, calibrated, glass spheres each w/ imprinted designated temperature reading weighted medallions.As indoor temperatures fall, spheres will rise, as temperatures rise, spheres will sink.
