This listing is for a large vintage coral specimen. The piece is simply stunning with its rustic texture and intricacy, but I am glad that practice of harvesting these beautiful corals has become regulated/forbidden by the law. So please note that this is a vintage specimen (likely from the 1960s) that was re-discovered hiding in a cardboard box during a recent estate sale. I am not sure about the exact type of coral this is, but I find its wave-like form and texture absolutely gorgeous. It also is quite delicate and will be carefully packaged for shipping.
The piece measures approximately 7 x 7 x 5 1/2”. It is in good vintage condition with just a few missing tips or individual branches. The broken tips are not terribly noticeable.
