Circa - late 1891 to 1910 "TORSORIAL GEM" Carbon Steel
Most likely early celluloid (ivory toned - do not think it is bone)
No cracks in handle noted (perhaps a cap cover missing on handle- photo provided)
Vintage condition with surface patina and a bit of wear consistent with age. One noted rust place (photos provided) Some light oxidation. Smooth pivot
Sold as a collectible antique - not sharpened for shaving
WILL NEED ADDITIONAL CLEANING - PREFERABLY BY PROFESSIONAL SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE ITEM - Photos of areas that need attention in cleaning and polishing have been provided - mainly on the inside of handle where blade sits closed - was hard to show
