Vintage Lee Sands Mother of Pearl Inlay Floral Beaded Pendant Necklace

Striking vintage necklace attributed to designer Lee Sands, featuring a large black pendant with intricate inlay work of mother of pearl, abalone, and shell in an abstract floral design.

The pendant is set in a smooth, glossy black base — likely lucite or resin — a material commonly used in Lee Sands’ inlay jewelry from the 1980s–1990s.

The beaded strand features a mix of black, white, and gold tone beads in various shapes and materials, including onyx chips, faceted lucite, and glass beads. It secures with a gold tone hook clasp.

This bold piece of wearable art measures approximately 21" long, and the pendant measures about 3 1/8" tall by 2 1/4" wide.

Unsigned, as is typical of this design, which was often sold in sets where only the earrings were carded with the Lee Sands mark.
