These small cloisonné ginger jars were discovered in an old farmhouse in Amherst, New Hampshire. Their style follows a tradition that became popular during China’s Qing Dynasty (1644–1912). Jars like these were often used to hold spices or small keepsakes. The enamel decoration features floral patterns and animal motifs, showcasing the careful handwork that makes cloisonné such a respected art. While the exact age is unknown, they are vintage and may date from the early to mid‑20th century.
Please note: Wooden stand is for display only and is not included.
