Overview: Up for sale is a woodblock print by acclaimed French/Japan print artist, Paul Jacoulet (1896-1960). Jacoulet was born in Paris, but lived most of his life in Japan. He farmed and worked as a print artist, reaching great acclaim. His full-size prints sell for thousands. This print, entitled "Snowy Night," shows a man carrying a lantern in the snow. This was a surimono (postcard-sized) print that Jacoulet produced as Christmas cards. Includes his block-signed signature at lower left.

Condition: Print shows fairly heavy toning. Tipped at the top to the matting. (Can be easily removed from the matting)

Measurements: Print measures approximately 6 inches high x 4.25 inches wide. Matting measures 8.25 inches high x 6 inches wide.
