Vintage set of six handmade sterling silver and turquoise bear paw button covers, from the historic Santo Domingo Indian Trading Post in Algodones, New Mexico. Each cover features a deeply stamped bear paw design centered with a bezel-set turquoise cabochon.
Tested and confirmed sterling silver, with natural turquoise stones showing slight variation in tone typical of handmade Southwestern work. The set comes in the original box marked Santo Domingo Indian Trading Post Algodones, NM.
Button covers measure approximately ¾ inch (19 mm) in diameter and fit snugly on standard shirt or jacket buttons. All clasps are intact and functional.
